The boys and I flew straight from the wedding to Michigan for a CC practicum, visiting friends, and the boys attending WorldView Academy. It was fun to see the four children colluding to blow up Danielle's phone with messages.
I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with friends at the practicum and as well as the friend gathering hosted by our dear friends. I am only wondering why I did not get any more pictures.... I guess I prefer to be behind the camera. We are truly blessed to have so many good friends.

Wedding
We were honored to be invited to Jason and Melody's wedding at the Santa Barbara Historical Society. We donned our very best and joined in the celebration. What a lovely event. Congratulations to the two of you, Jason and Melody.
All Dressed Up
The rehearsal dinner was held at a lovely restaurant and we got all dressed up and joined in the fun.

Beach Camping
Our final night of camping before arriving in Santa Barbara was spent right at the coast. We walked from our campsite to the ocean and could smell the salty mist in our tent. The boys could not resist the small flat stones and skip-stoned into the Pacific waves.

A Tasty of Europe in California
Solvang is a small Danish town in California. The town has managed to capture the feel of Copenhagen and the streets are dotted with bakeries offering tasty Danish treats. Late in the day, the treats are half price...
Ostriches and Emus
The sign for the Ostrich Petting Farm lured us in. Noah fed the greedy ostriches and eager emus and we marveled at the unusual physique of these animals.
Cal Poly
Since Cal Poly was on the way, we stopped for a campus tour and admissions information meeting. It is good to see different kinds of campuses and learn more about what sets schools apart.
Lake Nacimiento and Wine Tasting
We left Monterey and headed south for the wedding in Santa Barbara. On our way, we stopped for some kayaking in Lake Nacimiento in the morning and some wine tasting in the afternoon before setting up camp at a campsite.
