Covid Benefit

There is much hardship to consider as it relates to Covid. However, one benefit is that many are deep cleaning their houses and throwing out things that they no longer need. On our daily walks, we stop and take pictures of various items, texting friends or family asking, is this something you need? Bob hit the jackpot with this gem - it appears to have never been used. A bit of elbow grease and we now have a fantastic new cooktop. Needless to say, it was put to immediate use for paninis. Next up, a large batch of pancakes.

It is Blooming

Spring is here - the trees and flowers are blooming. The warmer weather is bringing 'everyone' outside, now to remain at an appropriate distance when out walking and running. I would prefer that the snakes kept their distance, of course.

Day View

The sunsets here in Flagstaff are spectacular. Yet, our day views are not too shabby either. It does a soul good to be outside, in the fresh air, enjoying nature, especially in this Covid season.

Sunset

It is not a Pacific Ocean sunset, but Flagstaff offers gorgeous sunset skies on a fairly regular basis.

Baking Class

Bob realized that our resident bread baker is not going to be in residence much longer. It is high time to learn from the master so that we can still enjoy homemade bread this fall. Lukas and Bob had a fun time talking hydration percentages and rising techniques for the best bread.

Spring is Here!

Laundry dried outside- that is a sure sign of spring!

Birthday Celebration

Noah wanted Indian food for dinner on his birthday and a cake. We decorated with balloons, enjoyed Indian food served out of the styrofoam containers, tasty but not aesthetically pleasing cake, and Noah had fun opening gifts.  His birthday turned an ordinary Tuesday during Covid into an extraordinary celebration.
