The trip

The Trip with capital T began in the early hours of a bright sunny Saturday in June. The boys loaded up the car, tied down the camping gear on the roof and headed East. Before crossing the border into Nevada, they explored Sutter's Fort learning more about the trials and travails of the gold rush that put California on the map. And last but not least, there was a provision stop at Jelly Belly Factory to stock up on Belly Flops and sweet treats for the many miles in the car.
