Lots of water

After a fun morning at the museum, and a delicious lunch we headed to Niagara Falls. The blistery cold weather did not deter us from walking along the brim, getting intermittently sprayed by the mist, while marveling at the view.
As the sun set, we headed back to the hotel to warm up, only to discover that we had front row seat viewing of the falls from our hotel room. We enjoyed the light show without the chill, and even had a little fire going in our faux fire place.

The next morning, we took the Journey Behind the Falls tour to see the falls up close, and maybe a bit too close for comfort, but well worth the slight discomfort. Our jackets were drenched in those places where the yellow poncho did not provide coverage. Noah expressed it best: that is a lot of water power.
