Christmas decorations

One question that every new house forces us to face is - Where to put the Christmas tree? Since we are spending Christmas with family, it seemed not too important to put up a tree; hence we could put off answering this 'burning' question. We all agreed that Sunday after Thanksgiving would be our decorating day.
Friday evening, new fun friends drove hours to come and visit us and join us for a simple supper. We had a great time and guess what they brought? Yes, a little table tree, so now we do have a Christmas tree!

The boys helped pull in all the Christmas decoration boxes, and we set out to decorate the house with a few things. The CD player is spinning Christmas music and the candles are lit,and the new It was the Night Before Christmas Advent Calendar has a prominent spot on the coffee table. Even our front door is looking festive with the gorgeous fresh greenery wreath gifted to us.
