Water, water, water

We spent most of our time in Florida exploring beaches and discovering the underwater world. Beaches on the Florida Keys are much different from many other places, but therefore offer a distinct experience. Forget the soft, cushy sand that one can scotchs around in to conform to the body, this is rock hard coral with a thin layer of sand on top; yet this offered wonderful underwater views. The boys took full advantage of the close by coral reefs and spent more time under water wearing mask and snorkel than on land wearing sun screen and sun glasses. A perfect vacation in other words; and we came home with a few new favorite beach spots.
