Since the boys were away at Boy Scout Camp, Bob and I had a lovely and quiet celebration on my birthday. However, the boys wanted to celebrate with me so the birth-day got extended to birth-weekend as Sunday became a day of feting mama.
Bob cooked a delicious meal and baked a fantastic cake, and I had several beautiful presents to open up. All of this after a leisurely afternoon, reading, napping, and relaxing, pretty much a perfect Sunday birthday celebration. Lukas captured it all on digital media, so he was there honoring his Mama.
