And off they go...

This week the boys are attending Boy Scout Camp, in Defiance OH. They spent Saturday afternoon organizing and packing all their gear, checking off each item as it went into the bag. The pile in the entry way grew bigger and bigger, sleeping bags - check; sleeping pads - check; bags - check; fishing gear - check; back packs - check; water bottles - check; and of course provisions for the ride.

Before they left Bob read the well known blessings from Numbers and we prayed for each boy, for the learning, the fun and the growing they will do this week. Bob is there with them for the first few days and will head back down on Friday to bring dirty, tired Scouts home on Saturday morning.

I am looking forward to hearing all about it, and finding the house rather quiet without my favorite guys.
