Celebrate America

We spent Friday evening of the Independence Day weekend at Greenfield Village attending the Celebrate America concert. This year, we brought along another couple from church - our pastor and his wife- and a pastor from Kyrzgyzstan visiting the US to raise support for his orphanage. It was a wonderful evening, tasty picnic food, great company, and fabulous music. The evening ends with a magnificent firework display while the Detroit Symphony Orchestra plays traditional patriotic songs. The rain in the morning made all green and beautiful and the temperature was perfect for an evening under the stars.
