A Short Hike

Sunday afternoon is usually a slower time and when we can, we take advantage of the many local hikes as a way to explore the area. With not much time and a wind that kept increasing in strength, we opted for a shorter hike to the Picture Canyon Natural Monument. The wind whipped through our clothes and I kept my hands in my pockets rather than capture my hiking family. We did get a shot of the 1000+ years old rock drawings - amazing that they have withstood the weather for so long.
