Birthday Celebration Continues

Noah, Bob, and I had fun searching through the local stores for a few trinkets to share with Lukas.  Being ever so logical and practical, Lukas informed us that he had already received several gifts from his extended family before we left, so nothing else was necessary. However, what is a birthday without a few presents and cake?

The cake came from the local grocery store, in a beautiful gift box, that featured a sweet looking cake on the front. I apparently neglected the small notices of "12" in the corner and happily dropped the box in my shopping cart. Noah was in charge of pulling out the cake and putting tea candles on it - the only candles we have. Well, inside the box were not one large cake, but rather 12 individually wrapped square cakes. Four of them made a beautiful display, and to our surprise, the cake actually tasted pretty good, not always the case, mainly because sweets here are less sugary.
