Fireworks

Monday, October 1, was National Day in China. Some of the Chinese nationals have the entire week off and many travel to be with family or to go on vacation. The next extended holiday is not until Chinese New Year.  We stayed put here in town, and on Tuesday we caught the end of a small firework show from our apartment window.
