Christmas Gift Surprise

Since the boys passed their SCUBA qualifications with flying colors, we surprised them with one more Christmas gift - another day of diving. The weather in Phuket looked a bit gray and glooming, but out on the water, the sun broke through. We had another delightful day, diving in a wreck, seeing sharks, sea turtles, octopus, eel, and multitudes of fish, and swimming in an enormous school of little yellow fish. As the boat steered towards land, we observed the dark clouds and even some lightening - by the time we docked the storm had blown past, and it was once again warm and pleasant. Watching the storm from the boat made for a dramatic and memorable ride.  Not a drop of rain fell on us.
