Saturday Hike

On Saturday morning, we gathered with our small group for a hike just north of Flagstaff, called Red Mountain. The area is filled with dormant volcanoes making for excellent hiking and exploration.  The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the lunch was tasty, and we had fabulous fellowship and conversations — a great way to spend a Saturday in May in Flagstaff.

A family picture, not a selfie!

amazing that anything can grow in the black lava dirt

Such a varied landscape - Flagstaff has it all

Lukas was faster hiking out and set up his hammock to hang out while waiting
