Assembly Line
Every two weeks, our church packs about 300 boxes for delivery to the Navajo Nation. By now, the process has been perfected, some people reload the tubs, others pack boxes, and a select group of strong muscle guys tape up the boxes and load the truck. There is also a lot of preparation work to be done before the first box can be packed, and there is even more work to be done after the final box is on the truck. By the time we come home, we are all warm, sweaty, a bit dirty, and physically tired, yet feeling blessed that we are able to participate in this tangible way to serve our neighbors.
