Getaway

 Bob and Christina headed south for a quick getaway. The goal was rest, relaxation, and warmth. We hit all three, although not exactly as was planned. The gorgeous pool and deck chairs did not beckon when the temperature gauge read 32, nor when it read 47, so the book reading happened in the room by the fire. 

We explored the Botanical Gardens, read more books, watch a bit of TV, ate delicious food, exercises, and slept late. On our way out of town, we made an important purchase - a watering can. None to be found in Flagstaff, and the one purchased on Amazon was non-functional. Ace Hardware to our rescue.

Before heading up the hill, we made an obligatory stop at Trader Joes for 'essentials' and car snacks. We arrived home refreshed and well-rested.
