Ready, aim, go

Science Friday - and we worked on catapults. Since it was close to Valentine's and we were looking for different types of bullets, it did not take long before little Candy Hearts became part of the mix, alongside acorns, and aluminum foil balls. We used Noah's catapults to see how far various objects would go, before heading inside to make our very own catapults, using colored Popsicle sticks. There were a lot of tongue maneuvering as the four carefully and meticulously wrapped, stacked and stretched rubber bands and sticks together. Once outside again, it did not take long before there were several modifications made, and the aim got better and better, although nobody managed to shot a Candy Heart into an open mouth.
