After the catapults we made a simple bob-sled, learning about friction, speed and shape. Although it was a lot of fun to see how fast 'my' aluminum bob sled would travel down the track, it was even more fun to hook the tube up to the shop vac, reverse the suction and let the shooting begin. So rather than traveling down the tube, things were traveling up or rather shooting out of the tube on the roof, over the house and even around corners. Giggles, laughter, and a bag of mini marshmallows later and class was dismissed.
