Camp

Although we are not caught up on the chronicling of our European and California adventure with family, life goes on, things to share. So for the next few weeks, there will be a mix of just happened events combined with 'this is what we did on our summer vacation' photos.

Today was a big day - the first day of all day summer camp for the boys. Lukas and Noah helped pack their back packs last night, checking things off the list one at the time, making sure lunches were prepared and all the clothes laid out ready for the day. All that preparation paid off as we are still catching up on sleep and therefore woke up a tad late... 20 minutes before we were suppose to meet our friends to be exact. Good things boys are low maintenance and that we had all our gear ready to go. We were only a few minutes late and there was some extra time built in to the schedule so nobody was late for the actual camp, phew!

It is called Camp SeaLab is a week long camp with hands on science learning about the world's largest ocean, right here in our 'backyard.' Yes, Lukas and Noah were probably a bit nervous, what were they getting themselves in to, but any and all trepidation was eliminated by the end of the first day. Three words to describe camp today: Awesome, Fabulous, Amazing.

They were both tired, and starving. Dear friends invited us over for dinner and Noah had at least 6 helpings of food, fortunately, these are very good friends with growing children.... and the problem of left overs was avoided. Home, shower, repack bags and the boys are out cold.
