Our new home town, Mount Clemens, celebrated October Fest last weekend. Since the weather was so nice, we could not resist a walk to the down town to explore. The boys enjoyed fried pretzel pieces and Bob enjoyed a cold one, and we spent a few minutes people watching. The band played oldies mixed in with polkas so satisfy the one and only couple that was dancing. Yes, it had all the trappings of October Feast, down to Bavarian and German flags, but it was no Munich. We reminiscent about our time in Germany while the boys finished off the pretzels and then took a quick walk through the local Art Museum. Although thinking we would only check it out and come back later for a more in-depth visit, it was not necessary. To see the entire museum, sans gift store mind you, took all of 15 minute.
On our walk back home, we noticed the trees changing colors, it is truly a feast for the eyes.
