Car damage?

On our first day in sunny warm Florida, we headed to the famous Everglades National Park. As we pulled in to the parking lot, we were a bit puzzled by the many cars that were covered in blue tarps. Yes, it was warm, but not that warm, yes there were trees, but none that seemed to drop sap... When then saw this bird on top of an uncovered car.... and all of a sudden it became crystal clear why a blue tarp was a coveted possession in this parking lot. Bob's face says it all... no tarp, no fun.  Lukas and Noah kindly volunteered to fold the tarp up when we were ready to leave.
