Although we had moved out of Michigan, one car was still in
Warren, and Lukas and Noah were being dropped off at Lakeside Mall late on a
Friday afternoon. It seemed prudent to head back for the car and the
boys, so I jumped on an airplane and headed back to Detroit while Bob unloaded
the truck. Fortunately, he received great
assistance from the local Classical Conversation community, and the truck was emptied
in record time.
Heading back to Michigan afforded me the
opportunity to visit with a few friends, pick up a few ingredients at the local
Indian store, and even catch a once-a-year warehouse sale at BetterLifeBag.
The boys arrived back tired and
dirty but oh so excited. They sure seemed to have grown since I last saw them
and it was sweet to hug them once again
and hear about all their adventures.
