Move-In Week

It is move-in time for the students at CQUTP and just like at an American university, the students are setting up their apartments/door rooms with the essentials. Any internet purchases arrive at this location, and the students come to collect their purchases.

We also saw many weary parents trecking up the hill with the basics - sleep mat, bucket for laundry, wash basin for dishes (?), and toilet paper/paper napkins.

Families are gathering in front of the university sign to take pictures, and upperclassmen are on hand to direct the newbies. Move-in week, no matter where share many similarities.
