Home Cooked Meal

Eating at home used to the norm and not too exciting. Eating out used to a special occasion event. Now it is the fallback choice for dinner.  China is shaking things up a bit.

At times we long for familiar food, so we conjure something up in our tiny kitchen. Lukas has experimented with bread and has the recipe down by now. We are still working out how to cook "American" here. It is a fun challenge! One thing we long for is a good salad. This one disappeared too quickly for me to get a good picture of the full bowl...



 We could not resist another taste test - this time things that looked like sweet rolls - no favorites or repeats in this batch.
