Our First Night in Hong Kong

After a quick rest and regroup it was time to begin our Hong Kong adventure. We quickly noticed the distinct differences from mainland China. One notable contrast - here people know how to and courteously do line up in orderly queues. We also observed that we were no longer the 'only' Westerners and nobody stopped us to take our picture or asked us to be friends on WeChat.
However, the amount of people is the same, the streets are just as crowded, and it was not uncommon to encounter large carts being pushed down the sidewalk.
Since it was evening, we searched out local food stall vendors and encountered new and markedly less spicy Chinese dishes. On our way back to the hotel, we browsed street vendors ware and enjoyed the local architecture and Christmas decorations.

I did not know there was a difference in flavor of rich and poor shrimp :-)

The stairs even tell a story
