The Holocaust Museum was sobering and impactful. Once again, architecture played a significant role in the message. Although there were many people in the museum, it was remarkably quiet. The young Israeli recruits milling around with their automatic weapons slung over the shoulders added a thought-provoking sentiment and realism. No photos were allowed inside the exhibits, but the images are etched on our brains. May we never forget.
