After a good night sleep - trying to get over jet lag - it was time to join the tour. Lukas and Noah patiently waited in the lobby. The first stop was Masada and the second stop was a dip in the Dead Sea. It was hot; the sun was beaming down, with little to no shadow. We practiced taking selfies, we marveled at the ingenuity of the builders, we admired the remnants of beauty, we were struck by the proximity of Jordan, and we floated in the Dead Sea. Since it was warmer in the water than on land, it was not the refreshing dop we had looked forward to, although floating with no effort was exhilarating.
The airconditioned bus felt good, and we happily enjoyed the scenery as Mustafa navigated the traffic back to Jerusalem.
