After a long hot day in the sun, walking around historical ruins, standing on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, was a welcome relief. The wind blew, and the waves were pretty high - it is not hard to imagine what the disciples felt like when the storm blew up, and Jesus was asleep.
We walked through the building that housed ancient Galilee fishing boats on our way out to the ship that would take us out on the sea. To our surprise, the captain played praise music the entire time. It was one of our most memorable moments of the trip, finally a moment of contemplation. This the sea that Jesus walked upon and from which he preached to the crowds on the shore.
