The Beginning of Our Garden
Last year, we might have started our seedlings a bit too late. This year, maybe we are a bit early. Our lettuce and mesclun are already growing too tall for the plastic-covered boxes. First, we took the top off and placed it under the air vent - our nights are still cold and frost can happen until May. When that was not enough, we pulled out the garden planters, now placed by the sliding glass door inside. Soon we will be able to harvest our own greenery for salads.
