We have been spoiled by always having Lukas' homemade bread available. The rest of us relinquished the bread baking to him. Now that he is away at college, it is time to pick up bread baking again. Not every attempt is successful.... rather than throwing it out, we fed it to the squirrel, who provide much joy and laughter as he attempted to grab these large pieces of bread between his paws, balance, and then jump across to the other roof and on to his secret hideouts for winter storage. This was his fourth attempt to make it across with bread in mouth, he does not give up.
