Glogg Party

We began the Christmas festivities with a large open house right before Christmas. Most of the Swedes had arrived, and many of our dear friends locally joined us for a fun afternoon. Without an accurate laser counter by the door, the estimates are a big vague, but approximated to 80 people who joined us in sipping glogg, munching cookies, sampling Swedish meatballs, along with other delicacies and chatting.  A truly memorable and fun afternoon. Although we prepared a lot of food, the net effect was close to status quo - generous friends brought plates and baskets brimming with goodies, some which we are still enjoying here in early January! Any need for last minute baking to make sure there were Christmas cookies were rapidly eliminated, giving us more time to visit and play with cousins!

Noah's mice were the talk of the party!
