Fourth of July Traditions

No 4th of July celebration is complete without Bob's peach ice cream made from a recipe from the  older, worn out, falling apart copy of Joy of Cooking.

We had a lovely, slow, and quiet dinner as the boys had to pack and get ready for big adventure. They are off to LIFE conference in Kansas City this week. The gathering was 5:30 am this morning, too early for any photos.
