We celebrated Bob's birthday by attending a play, The Mousetrap,
at the local university theater company. We had front row seats in the intimate
theater and thoroughly enjoyed the "Whodunit" plot. Noah accurately
guessed the murdered by the end of act one.
The play ran long, but that did
not stop us from enjoying birthday cake. When we went to pull out the birthday
candles, we realized there were none, so a tea candle had to suffice. The
delicious homemade carrot cake made up for the omission
Birthday gifts had to wait; everyone was too tired to stay up.
