Well, the signs of springs that we observed around town turned out to be teasers, not the real thing. We woke up to snow on Tuesday morning! Fortunately, our plan for the day was to drive to Phoenix, where it was nice and warm; perfect weather for an early birthday celebration with lunch and Rita's Water Ice.
