Fall back and replace the battery in the smoke detector is the mantra of the Public Service Announcement. Well, we did not need the reminder because the smoke detector strategically placed in the middle of the cathedral ceiling of our living room began to beep, meaning the battery needs replacement. Fortunately, we have a few friends with tall ladders, and Noah was home for a quick visit and could assist. Bob and Noah did a marvelous job, and the annoying beep sound is gone!
