Birds nest and long lettuce

Lukas spent an afternoon the week before Easter trying out a new recipe, to make sure it was suitable for Easter Sunday dinner inclusion. He mixed, dropped, baked and decorated these little birds nests. Judging by the left overs after our small group get together, the cookies were a hit, and earned a spot on the Easter Sunday Dinner Menu.
Noah was sent out to pick some lettuce for dinner and came back in with a large bowl overflowing with greens and also this rather long lettuce. It was hidden among the beans and therefore had not met is match in the daily salad picker....
